Zduhač is an independent artistic brand dedicated to glasswork.
At high temperatures, glass forms emerge where matter, alchemy and myth meet.
Each piece is shaped by hand and has its own form and character.
The name is inspired by the old folk term “zduh”, meaning breath, spirit or inner life energy.
In folklore, a zduhač is a mythical being capable of leaving its body during sleep and transforming itself in battle with supernatural forces.
Murano glass is a type of art glass made for centuries on the island of Murano in Venice, renowned for its quality and rich colours.
Today, glasswork is an increasingly rare craft, practised in only a few places.

Description
Each piece is handmade from Murano glass. The forms are organic, without a fixed geometric shape.
The nature of the material and the making process give each piece its own shades, lines and internal structures, small landscapes of energy captured in the material.
