The name is inspired by the old folk term “zduh,” which refers to breath, spirit, or inner life energy. In folk tradition, a “zduhač” is a mythical being believed to leave the body in sleep and transform in battle against forces.
Murano glass is a type of artistic glass that has been crafted for centuries on the island of Murano in Venice and is known for its quality and rich, vibrant colors. Glassmaking today remains one of the rarer, almost endemic crafts.
