Description

This redesigned, hand-painted Savonarola X period chair, also known as the “Dante chair”, is made of carved oak and dates from the early 20th century. It has been redesigned to retain the elegance and style of bygone times while fitting into contemporary spaces, giving them character and individuality.

The chair comes to us from artist Mirjana Cvetković’s “RomiDizajn” studio. She works exclusively with period furniture and uses Annie Sloan paints, which are the best in their category, the world’s No.1 brand for furniture painting. By their nature, these are so-called “chalk paints”, which give furniture a distinctive matte finish. The paints are water-based and are even certified for use on children’s toys.
Material: oak.
